Historical Implied ERP
Six annual FCFE-method observations (2020–2025). Method differs from the featured October 2026 adjusted-payout ERP.
Source: Damodaran's January 2026 historical implied ERP table. Year-end figures are from the FCFE model; do not stitch them to October's adjusted-payout figure as a continuous series.
Country Risk Premiums
Historical country snapshot
CRP is an additional country risk premium; the table also shows Damodaran's estimated total ERP at that earlier date. These are separate quantities. This is a small reference selection, and the January table is superseded by more recent July 2026 downloadable data.
Relative additional country ERP (%) for selected countries; not a world-wide coverage map or live estimate.

Industry Valuation Benchmarks
Dated U.S. industry statistics · not current individual-stock multiples
Compare selected U.S. sectors by unlevered beta, WACC, forward P/E, EV/EBITDA and ROIC. EV/EBITDA uses the positive-EBITDA-only subset. Sector P/E and EV multiples use different sample definitions; do not compare them mechanically with a firm's live valuation.
Optional CSV columns: industry, firms, unlevered_beta, wacc_pct, forward_pe, ev_ebitda_positive, roic_pct. File stays in your browser and is not uploaded.

1. Cost of equity and capital
Select a dated country reference. It will not change the scenario unless you explicitly apply it.
Choose inputs intentionally; no automatic endorsement or benchmark equivalence.
2. Two-stage free-cash-flow-to-firm DCF
Use FCFF in millions of USD, shares outstanding in millions, and net debt (debt minus cash) in millions. Outputs are only as good as your company-specific cash flow forecasts.

Methodology & licensing
Dates matter: The featured U.S. ERP is 4.20% as of October 1, 2026; the base mature-market ERP in CAPM is 3.98%, after subtracting the published 0.22% U.S. default spread. Selected country premiums are from January 5, 2026, though a more recent July 2026 table is linked. U.S. industry averages are January 2026. Treasury rates are fetched from Stockybara's separate official daily feed. These sources must not be treated as same-day estimates.
Company vs. industry: A firm's levered beta is not the same as sector unlevered beta. Unlevered beta must be relevered using an appropriate capital structure/tax adjustment. Forward P/E and EV/EBITDA use different samples and metric definitions, and may be inappropriate for loss-making companies.
Rights: These are selected facts with exact source links, not copied research graphics, full hosted workbooks or raw Bloomberg/Capital IQ/Morningstar company records. Do not sell data sourced from Damodaran. Local CSV imports stay inside your browser for the session, and you are responsible for ensuring permission to use any imported data. No NYU affiliation or endorsement is claimed.
Valuation: This two-stage FCFF model discounts annual FCFF at WACC and uses a perpetual-growth terminal value. It omits dilution changes, stock-based compensation adjustments, cyclical normalization, distress cases, and scenario probabilities. Cost of equity and company risk are user assumptions, not investment advice.
